The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved nine development projects at a meeting on Tuesday.The meeting was held at the NEC’s conference room with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal disclosed the matter to reporters on Tuesday.He said, ECNEC, the highest policy-making body of the government, gave the nod to the nine projects involving a cost of Tk33.74b.Of the cost of the nine projects, Tk23.82b (Tk2,379.31 crore) would come from government exchequer, he added, according to a news agency.
