Police recovered bullet-hit bodies of three people at Baishali area in Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban on Sunday morning.
Police claimed that they were the robbers.
The deceased were identified as Anwar, son of Abdus Sobhan, of Baishari union in the upazila, Abdul Hamid, son of Nurul Haque of Ramu upazila and Md. Bappi, son of Syed Hossain of Suparikata.
Sheikh Alamgir, officer-in-charge of Naikhongchhari Police Station, said they were killed in shooting with each other over the sharing of robbery goods.
The bodies were sent to Bandarban Sadar Hospital for autopsy, he added.
