Pakistan set 238-run target for India

Pakistan were restricted to 238 after losing consecutive wickets to Indian bowlers in the third match of Asia Cup Super Four stage.

Pakistan had already lost their top order after Imamul Haq (10), Fakhar Zaman (31) and Babar Azam (9) were dismissed in the first 15 overs of the match. Imam and Zaman managed to hit two boundaries each.

Malik and Sarfraz were sharing an impressive partnership before their dismissal. Sarfraz was dismissed on 44 while Malik piled up 78 runs before being sent back to the pavilion by Bumrah.

Chahal bowled out Asif Ali for 30 while Bumrah took out Shadab Khan for 10. Pakistan were 237/7 after 50 overs.

Pakistan had won the toss and opted to bat first against unchanged Indian side in continent’s premier ODI competition.

In the league staged, India had crushed Pakistan by eight wickets.

Pakistan made two changes as Amir and Shadab returned while Usman Shanwari and Haris Sohail were rested.
