Mushfiqur Rahim entered the record books of Bangladesh cricket when he became the third Tigers batsman to reach the 5000-run club in ODIs during a super four match of the ACC Asia Cup in Abu Dhabi, UAE on Sunday.
Mushfiq Rahim became the third Bangladeshi batsman to complete 5000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODI), joining Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan.
He is the 84th batsman overall to complete 5000 runs in ODIs. Mushfiqur was 7 runs away to reach the mark before the day and now he has 5012 runs in his bag.
