Journalist and presenter Shafik rehman is being appeared in court in connection with the alleged attempt to abduct and murder Sajeeb Wazed Joy, ICT affairs adviser of Prime Minister Sheikh.He (Shafik) is being appeared at CMM court (Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court) in Dhaka around 3pm on Wednesday.All data will be presented in the court today which is got 10-day remand in two phases. In this context, the court will announce its verdict, official concerned informed.On the other hand Sanaullah Mia,lawyer of Shafik Rehman informed that after appearing at the court we will seek bail to Shafik rehman.Earlier On 16 April, Shafik Rehman was arrested for an alleged attempt to abduct and murder Sajeeb Wazed Joy, ICT affairs adviser of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
