Three dacoits were lynched to death at Kattoli area in Chittagong around 3am on Wednesday. At that time police also apprehended five dacoits.Police said, three of two deceased dacoits were identified. They are Md.Rasel (23) and Sagor (30).The other dacoit could not be ascertained.The apprehended five dacoits were Md. Aluddin (17), Md Rubel (18), Md Rana (20) and Md Rubel (19).Police and locals said residents of the kattoli area lynched the dacoits while they were taking preparations for committing dacoity, leaving three dead on the spot on Wednesday around 3am.Later police apprehended five dacoits.Officer In charge (OC) of Akbar Shah Thana Sadip Kumar Das said, police recovered LG gun and a large number of weapons from their possession.
