One passenger has been held with 12 gold bars weighing 1.5 kilogram at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital at12 pm on Tuesday.The detained passenger is Shahadat Mia (passport no-BE0466954).Assistant director of customs intelligence Tareq Mahmud told Jago News that Shahadat Mia arrived at Dhaka from Dubai by FZ583 at 12 pm. The customs intelligence seized 12 gold bars weighing 1.5 kilogram from his possession.Estimated cost of the seized gold is taka 80 lakh, said Tareq.A legal action is underway.
