One unidentified man was killed in a ‘gunfight’ with police in Brahmanbaria.The incident took place at Suhilpur are under Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila on Comilla-Sylhet highway early on Monday.Police claimed that, he was member of a robber group.In this incident, four police member were injured. The injured are Rubel Hossen(23),Junayed Alam(25),Md.Ali Hossen(38),Sohel Rana(26) constable of Sadar Model Thana. They are being treated in the district hospital.Confirming the incident officer in charge of Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Thana Md.Moinur Rahman told Jago News that a group of armed robbers preparing robbery at Suhilpur on Comilla-Sylhet highway.On secret information, a team of Sadar Thana police rushed to the spot, the robbers opened fire on the police. In replied, the police shot on them in self-defense and one robber died on the spot.Four members of Sadar Model Thana were injured in the incident.
