Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Nepal to take part in the fourth Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit on Thursday, reports The Kathmandu Post.
Bangladesh’s national flag carrier special plane landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport around 9:25 am (Nepal local time).
Defense Minister Ishwor Pokharel and officials from the Foreign Ministry welcomed the premier at the airport.
Police also stopped vehicles from plying on the road to allow motorcades of the premier to pass to Soaltee Hotel where the summit is taking place.
