A female journalist was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants in front of her rented house at Power House para of Radhanagar area in Pabna on Tuesday night.
The deceased Suborna Nodi, 32, was the journalist of private television Ananda Tv and local daily Jagrata Bangla.
According to her relatives, Suborna came under the attack when she was returning to her home. Three to four miscreants riding on a motorbike hacked her and fled away at 10:30pm.
Hearing her screaming, Suborna’s relatives recovered her in a critical condition and admitted to Pabna General Hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
Suborna’s elder sister Chopna Khatun said, Suborna filed a case against a man claiming her husband and she was killed following the incident.
In this connection Pabna Additional Superintendent of Police Goutom Kumar Biswas, said it is believed that she has been killed over a pre-enmity.
