Defending champion Bangladesh under-15 women’s team hammered Pakistan 14-0 in their first match of the SAFF under-15 women’s championship in Bhutan Thursday.
Right from the start, the winning team dominated with the majority of ball possession and took a 1-0 lead within five minutes.
Shamsunnahar scored five goals. Tahura, Magini and Sajeda scored twice while Maria, Monika and Ankhi netted a goal apiece.
After winning the match, Bangladesh move one step ahead for the round of four.
Bangladesh face Nepal in their second and final match on Monday.
