Public Admin Ministry’s month-long mourning progs

The Public Administration Ministry has chalked out a month-long programme in observance of the 43rd martyred anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day, BSS reported.

The programme will commence with wearing of black badges by all officers and employees of the ministry from tomorrow.

Public Administration Secretary Foyez Ahmed today announced the programme at the conference room of the ministry. State Minister for Public Administration Ismot Ara Sadique was present at the meeting.

The programmes included hoisting of national flag at half-must, paying tributes to the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on National Mourning Day, discussion, blood donation, essay and painting competition, Milad and Doa Mahfil and a discussion on “Bangabandhu and Independence” at BIAM Foundation on August 15.

The ministry also instructed all the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to chalk out such programmes in line with the ministry to observe the National Mourning Day.
