Shajahan regrets for his remarks on road crashes

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan today regretted for his remarks on July 31’s road crashes that killed two students and injured 10 others here.

The shipping minister shocked at the death of the students and expressed his sympathy to their families. He also wished for early recovery of the injured ones, said a press release, BSS reported.

Talking to journalists after a meeting at his ministry, the minister also accepted the criticisms of all quarters poured centering the incident and subsequently his comments as well.

Shajahan Khan, also transport workers’ leader, urged all to forgive him for his inadvertent remarks and reiterated the demand for exemplary punishment to those involved in the road crashes, the release added.
