Two drivers and two helpers of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan were arrested following a bus accident that killed two students on Dhaka airport road.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-1 in a drive arrested them in the capital from Sunday night to Monday morning.
The interrogation of them is going on. Further details regarding their matter will be disclosed latter, said Mufti Mahmud Khan, the director of RAB’s legal and media office.
Earlier, a case was filed with Cantonment Police Station following the bus accident.
On Sunday, two students of Shaheed Ramij Uddin Cantonment College were killed and 12 others injured as a bus ploughed through a crowd waiting for transports on Airport Road near Radisson Hotel in the capital.
Immediately after the accident, fellows of the victims as well as the locals barricaded the road and set fire to two buses, leaving over 50 vehicles vandalised in the area under the Cantonment police.
