Three people have been killed as truck loaded with rod fell into a roadside ditch at Tarakandi in Jamalpur.
The accident took place at Awna union area this morning.
The deceased are Nasir Uddin, Riaz Uddin and Abdul Barik.
Confirming the matter, Zohaer Hossen, in-charge of Tarakandi investigation centre told Jago news that a truck loaded with rod fell into a roadside ditch while heading towards Sarisabari from Dhaka, leaving three people dead on the spot.
Police have recovered the dead bodies, he added.
