The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 will deliver verdict any day in a case filed against four Moulvibazar men for allegedly committing crimes during the Liberation War in 1971 will be delivered on Tuesday.
The three-member tribunal led by Justice Md Shahinur Islam on Monday fixed the date.
The accused - Akmal Ali Talukder, 76; Abdun Nur Talukder alias Lal Miah, 62; Anis Miah, 76; and Abdul Musabbir, 64; all from Rajnagar upazila of Moulvibazar - face two charges of genocide and crimes against humanity. Akmal is now in jail while the other three are on the run.
On May 7, 2017, the tribunal had framed charges against them.
On November 26, 2015, the ICT issued warrants for the arrest of the four war crimes suspects. Police arrested Akmal that day from his village home.
