With the World Cup over and the trophy readied for the champions, France, FIFA dished out the individual honours on Sunday evening in Moscow.
Luka Modric won the award for the best player of the 2018 tournament, the Golden Ball, having played every minute of Croatia's run to the final.
That meant Kylian Mbappe missed out on the award despite being on the winning side in the final, although the forward nonetheless picked up the Young Player gong.
Eden Hazard won the Silver Ball and Antoine Griezmann the Bronze Ball to complete the honours' podium.
The only other award to be decided after the final whistle was the Golden Glove, which Thibaut Courtois claimed after conceding just six times in a goalfest competition.
And given the lack of a hat-trick hero in Moscow, Harry Kane's Golden Boot was confirmed thanks to the England man netting six goals en route to the semi-finals.
