A Dhaka court on Thursday asked Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) to submit probe report on August 12 in the case filed against Prince Musa Bin Shamsher over for allegedly giving false information in his wealth statement.
Dhaka Metropolitan Judge Ahsan Habib passed the order after the customs intelligence missed to submit report against Prince Musa on the day.
Earlier, the court fixed Thursday for the submission of the probe report.
Customs intelligences have verified the primary authenticity of charges against Prince Musa. Charges are the money laundering, anonymous financial transactions and registration of Range Rover Car which was brought under duty-free access, with fake papers in connection with some of the Bhola BRTA officials.
On March 12, customs intelligence officials conducted a drive in Musa’s Gulshan house and seized a Range Rover Car. Later, a case was filed for dodging duty in Dhaka customs house.
Customs intelligence Assistant Revenue Officer (ARO) Md Zakir Hossen on July 31 filed the case with Gulshan police station under money laundering prevention act.
