Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her five-year-old daughter from their residence at Shiltola village under Boalkhali upazila of Chittagong district on Tuesday at 11 am.The deceased were identified as Sheli Shil, 35, wife of Ashim Shil, and his daughter Ontara Shil, 5.They were sent to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.Boalkhali police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Salauddin Chowdhury said the locals spotted the hanging body of Sheli from the ceiling fan of her room while Ontara’s body was on the bed.
