State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroze Chumki today said her ministry is giving training to around two crore women on different subjects including fashion design, mobile servicing and beatification to make them as entrepreneur, BSS reported.
“The government has a plan to construct ‘Joyeeta Bhaban’ at every district for the women entrepreneurs,” she said while speaking at the 155th founding anniversary of Kumarkhali Pilot Girls’ High School and reunion of the students of the school at Kushtia, said an official release here.
Lawmaker Abdur Rouf, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Dr Nasrin Ahmed, Additional Secretary of Finance Ministry Sultana Afroze, Kushtia Zila Parishad Chairman Rabiul Islam, Deputy Commissioner Jahir Raihan and Mayor of Kushtia Shamsuzzaman Tarun, among others, addressed the function.
