The Bangladesh national women cricket team, who clinched the T20 Asia Cup, returned home this evening.
The Tigresses who have created history by becoming the first Bangladeshi cricket team to win an Asia Cup trophy, arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a US Bangla flight, reports BSS.
The victorious team went to Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel straight from the airport where the BCB president, directors and staff members received the Tigresses.
Bangladesh women cricket team were crowned Asian champions as they defeated six-time champions India by three wickets in the T20 Asia Cup final at the Kinara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Sunday.
