Bangladesh won the title of the Women’s Asia Cup Twenty20 tournament championship with 3-wicket victory against India at Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Batting first, H Kaur’s 56 runs guided India to set the Tigresses 113 runs target in the game.
Chasing the target, Bangladesh overhauled the target to clinch the title for the first time.
India managed to score 112 runs losing nine wickets in 20 overs.
For Bangladesh, Rumana Ahmed earned two wickets of 22 runs and Khadija Tul Kubra hit two wickets off 23 runs.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field first in the match against India.
