The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations were published across the country on Sunday, showing 77.77 pass percentage.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban around 10am.
A total of 110,629 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5) in the examinations.
Last year 80.35 percent of candidates passed their SSC exams and 104,761 scored a GPA 5.
This year, a total of 20,31,889 students, including 10,23,212 boys and 10,08,687 girls, appeared in the examinations.
