Two men were slaughtered to death after hacked them by a gang of criminals.The incident took place at Shajahanpur upazila and Mahabubnagar area in Bogra on Monday night and early on Tuesday.The deceased were identified as Anwarul Islam (42), a night guard of Ariabazar, and son of the late Azizul Haque of area Katabaria Mordhopara and Shahidul islam, son of Ansar Ali of village Thontoria Poshchimpara.On Monday night, a gang of miscreants called Shahidul in front of his house and brought him to Mahbubnagar area and hacked him with sharp weapons.They also ensured his death after slaughtering him. The cause of killing could not be known immediately.Police recovered his body and brought it to police station.Officer-in-charge of Bogra Sadar police station Abul Basar said, it is believed that Shahidul was a victim of a pre planed murder over a family feud.On the other hand, Police said Anwarul Islam was on duty from 9pm on Monday and the locals spotted his tied-up body around 5am at the south side of the market.Police recovered the dead body around 7am and sent it for autopsy.Sanwar Hossain, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Shajahanpur police station said, primarily assumed that Anwar was a victim of pre planned murder.
