Mizanur Rahman Sohag, a friend of Tonu’s brother Anwar Hossain, has returned home after missing for 16 days.Sohag was picked up by people posing as policemen on March 28 from his village home hours after he tried to communicate with Tonu`s brother Anwar Hossain Rubel, watching Rubel`s interview on television on the murder of Tonu, according to his family members. The 21-year-old was noticed by his paternal uncle at Nazira Bazar area near their house in Comilla around 6am Tuesday.Sohag’s elder sister Khaleda Akhter said our paternal uncle saw him standing on the road when he went for a walk in the morning. Sohag did not say anything about where he was.Sohagi Jahan Tonu, a second-year history student of Comilla Victoria Government College and cultural activist, was found murdered near her residence inside the cantonment area on March 20. Her father Yaar Hossain, an office assistant of the Cantonment Board, filed a case with Kotwali police the next day without naming anyone.
