A day-long spring festival is going to be held on Dhaka University campus here on Thursday.
Dhaka University Cultural Society (DUCS) will organise the festival titled 'Dhaka University Spring Festival 1424' with a view to upholding the traditional cultural and heritage of the country.
On the occasion, the DUCS will bring out a procession after the inauguration of the festival in the morning, reports BSS.
ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak,MP is expected to inaugurate the cultural segment in the afternoon.
The daylong event features cultural show, puppet show and musical show, including Gambhira and recitation of Puthi. DU students will perform at the cultural show.
The festival will end with a concert of "Joler gaan" and "Gaankobi".
The festival will remain open for all kinds of visitors from 10am to 9 pm.
