Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will ensure tight security for Pohela Boishakh celebration in the capital specifically Sahabagh, Ramna and suharawardy udyan areas.All the spots where celebration programmes will be held on that day under close circuit cameras and monitor to avoid any undesirable incident, said DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia.DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said this at a press conference held at the Media Centre of DMP in the capital on Monday.He added that ‘DMP ban on open-air concerts or any other form of cultural events till 5pm on the Pahela Baishakh, which falls on Thursday.’
