Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested four including the prime suspect Sanjeed Chiran in the killing of two Garo women in capital’s Gulshan area.
According to RAB source, RAB-1 held them from Nalitabari of Sherpur on Wednesday evening.
Details will be informed later, source added.
Autopsy of the two Garo women- Sujata Chiran, 42, and her mother Besat Moni Chiran, 65, conducted at Dhaka Medical College (DMC) morgue.
In primary investigation after autopsy, there were found 14 stab marks on different parts of Sujata’s body and there was not found any stab mark on her mother's body as she was strangled to death.
Police recovered the bodies from a flat in the capital’s Kalachandpur area under Gulshan around 9:00pm on Tuesday while one of them was found with dissected throat and others was hanged.
