The government has declared "mourning day" for Thursday following the casualties in the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash in Kathmandu, Nepal on Monday, reports BSS.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office here today with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
According to the decision, doa and prayers meeting will be held at all religious institutions and places of worship including mosques, temples and churches and pagodas across the country on Friday.
At least 51 people were killed as the US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and burst into flames while landing at Trivubhan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.
