Bangladesh-India face-off in crucial match today

Bangladesh will take on India in their crucial match of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy scheduled to be held today at R. Premadasa Stadium, Sri Lanka.

The match will kick off at 7.30 pm (BST).

Bangladesh need to win against India in the match if they want to be qualified for the final. Tigers have never beaten India in T20Is.

On the other hand, India have been victorious in eight of their ten outings at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

But, following outstanding performances against tournament host Sri Lanka, Bangladesh Captain Mahmudullah optimistic to retain their consecutive success agaisnt India.

India also buoyant  with plenty of happy faces in their team after the hard-fought win over the home side, Sri Lanka. Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik finished off the tricky chase quietly against Sri Lanka.

The live coverage of the match will start  from 7.00 pm with the toss on Channel 9 in Bangladesh.

The team management probably won’t want to change a winning unit, but having conceded 40 runs in three overs in the last game, Taskin Ahmed may not be an automatic pick with the new ball. Abu Jayed could get the nod, reports Times of India.
