BNP active to protect its corrupt leader: Inu

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Friday said the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is dangerous to democracy as the party leaders are remain silent on leaving Razakars as well as crying for the release of their corrupt party chief.

"The BNP leaders are remain silent in removing Razarkars from the party and active for demanding the release of their corrupt party chief Begum Khaleda Zia ....such situation is dangerous to democracy," he said while unveiling the cover of three books written by Poet Ziaur Rahman on Friday morning.

Replying to a quarry about BNP leaders claim that the government is silent on releasing of Khaleda Zia, Inu, also the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President said "BNP is a party of corrupt people and it has connection to Razakars."

District JSD President Golam Mohsin and its General Secretary Abdul Alim Shawpan, among others, were present on the occasion.
