A student was killed and other was injured when a bus hit them at Vennabari area on the Gopalgonjo-Tekerhat road in Gopalganj district on Saturday. The deceased is Milon Mondol aged 12, son of Deben Mondol of Vennabari village and a student of class six of Vennabari Sommilito Uccha Bidyalay.Hearing the incident, the classmate of the deceased and local people blocked the Gopalgonjo-Tekerhat road while a long tailback was creating.Police said, a Tekerhathat bound local bus coming from Gopalgonjo hit them when Milon and his friend were returning home by bi-cycle. At that time Milon was killed and Asit also severely injured on the spot.Selim Reza, Officer-In-Charge of Gopalgonjo police station confirmed the matter.
