Four people have died after falling from the roof of a running train on Dhaka- Dinajpur route near Raninagar station of Naogaon district at 3am on Wednesday.
The deceased are Jahangir Alam, 19, of Dinajpur, Aminul Islam, 30, of Naogaon, Apel Mahmud, 26, of Panchagarh, and Moniruzzaman, 22, of Dinajpur.
In this connection, Motiur Rahman, Sub Inspector of Shantahar GRP station, said: “The passengers fell off the roof of Drutojan Express. The dead bodies were sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for autopsy.”
