Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that the verdict is only aimed at harassing Khaleda Zia for political purpose.
He came up with the remark after Khaleda’s graft case verdict on Thursday.
BNP senior vice chairman Tareq Rahman among six got 10 years imprisonment in the same case.
