Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Tuesday imposed a ban on procession in Dhaka on February 8 to avoid any untoward situation centring a verdict in a graft case against Khaleda Zia.
The decision has been taken over intelligence and news reports that subversive activities might be carried out on the day centering the verdict, said a DMP press release signed by DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia.
The ban will be effective from 4am and continue until further notice.
