Cabinet Division has proposed to Road Transport and Bridge Ministry to make separate lane for VIPs and emergency services in Dhaka.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam informed the matter while talking to reporters at secretariat on Monday.
In reply to a query, Shafiul Alam said Cabinet Division has formally requested to the relevant ministry to look over the matter. The VIPs of many countries usually drives on the right side of the road when requires.
He, however, said this is not only important for the VIPs, but also it is very much important for the emergency services like ambulance, fire service and police.
