The government on Sunday announced Taka five lakh bounty for information leading to the capture of real question paper leakers.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement after a meeting of the National Monitoring Committee on Law and Order in the Education Ministry, an official release said.
Nahid said, "Taka 5 lakh will be given as bounty to anyone who would help identify or catch the persons involved in question paper leakage."
State Minister for Education Kazi Keramat Ali, Secretary of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division Md Sohrab Hossain, Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Division Md Alamgir, officials of different agencies concerned, among others, were present at the meeting.
Nahid said an 11-member examination monitoring committee led by Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Division Md Alamgir was formed to investigate the question paper leakage and take decision in this regard.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under country's 10 education boards began on February 1.
