BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has called a National Executive Committee meeting around two years after its formation ahead of the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case verdict scheduled to be delivered on February 8.
Around 502 members of the committee will take part in the meeting on February 3 in Dhaka.
Shamsuddin Didar and Shairul Kabir Khan, BNP chairperson’s media wing officers came up with the information on Sunday.
According to source, the meeting will begin in the morning on that day but the venue has not been finalised yet.
The members of the meeting will discuss what steps should be taken if the verdict in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case goes against Khaleda, source added.
BNP held its immediate past national council in March 19, 2016 and formed the national executive committee with 502 members.
