Around 150 unemployed nurses have begun sit in program at National Press Club in the capital demanding seniority-based appointment of them under the Public Service Commission on Tuesday.Officer-in-Charge of Shahbagh police station Abu Bakkar Siddique confirmed the matter.He said the program was peaceful and additional policemen were deployed there to prevent any untoward incident.On March 30, police charged batons, used water cannons and lobbed tear gas canisters to disperse the demonstrating nurses from Shahbagh intersection.
