DU forms probe body over ‘BCL Attack’

An investigation committee has been formed on Wednesday to look into allegations that Chhatra League leaders and activists attacked on demonstrating Dhaka University (DU) students on Monday.

The university authority has formed the probe committee following the protests of the students on Wednesday demanding the punishment of assailants.

Proctor AKM Golam Rabbani’s assured them of punishment for those who will be found guilty into the matter.

The students started their agitation programme at 11am confining the university’s proctor at his office and urged the proctor AKM Golam Rabbani to resign from the administrative post.
