Mr. Bean turns 63

Rowan Atkinson, popularly known as Mr. Bean, the man whose existence has filled the world with laughter, celebrates his 63rd birthday today.

The Hollywood actor, Rowan Atkinson, who played the enormously celebrated character of Mr. Bean that led him to great success, will celebrate his 63rd birthday today (6th January).

Born to Eric Atkinson and Ella May in County Durham in England, back in 1955, the actor started his journey to triumph from BBC Radio 3 where he starred in a comedy series called The Atkinson People.

After this, he continued working at the BBC where he presented another show called Not The Nine O’clock News.

In 1990, Atkinson presented the first comedy show of The Helpless Mr. Bean which went on to make several more sequels.

In 1997, Director Mill Smith went on to make a film out of the character of Mr. Bean that was titled with the same name.

In November of 2012, Atkinson decided to bid farewell to the world famous and timeless character of Mr. Bean that still lives on in the hearts of people around the world.
