The deed writers will now be able to continue their work even after 65 years of age as the government gave approval of the document on the "deed writers' optimum age-limit annulment" , said an official release today.
"Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has approved the document cancelling the 65-year age-bar of the deed writers. The Inspector General of Registration (IGR) under the law ministry will issue a circular in this regard shortly", the release said.
The minister in a conference on December 7, 2017, assured the members of Bangladesh Deed Writers Association (Bangladesh Dalil Lekhak Samity) in this regard.
The age-limit and academic qualification with minimum SSC or equivalent were not mentioned for this task before 2003, it added.
