Dhaka North City Corporation on Tuesday cancelled trade licenses of six coaching centers over illegal outdoor publicity.
All coaching centers are situated at Farmgate area under the jurisdiction of DNCC. The coaching centers are—UCC, UniAid, Icon, Icon Plus and Omega.
A S M Mamun, Key public relations officer of DNCC told Jago News that the coaching centers were asked not to go for outdoor publicity making city dirty but they ignored it. DNCC formerly fined them in the past as they violated rules.
The coaching centers continued illegal outdoor publicity using billboards, signboards, over-heads, banners, posters, festoons and the other forms of advertisements violating the rules and instructions of City Corporation.
