Mirza Fakhrul Isalm Alamgir has been made secretary general of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) while Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has been promoted to senior joint secretary general.Rizvi made the disclosure at a press conference in the party’s central office in the capital’s Nayapaltan on Wednesday. According to the announcement, Mizanur Rahman Sinha has been made treasurer. Mirza Fakhrul was made the acting secretary general after his death in 2011. Khaleda has been the chairperson since 1983.The last council of BNP was held on December 8, 2009.In the last council, Khandker Delwar Hossain was made the Secretary General.
