MM Aminur Rahman, the secretary general of Kalyan Party, has been found in Dhaka nearly four months after he went missing.
A team of Detective Branch of police of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Aminur from near ‘Suvastu Tower’ around 11.40pm on Friday, said DB’s Additional Deputy Commissioner (north) Mohammad Shahjahan.
He has shown arrested in a sabotage case filed with Gulshan police on February 16, 2015.
The Kalyan Party leader had gone missing on August 27 when he was returning to his Palli Bidyut residence from Naya Paltan.
Later his family members lodged a general diary with Paltan Police Station.
Bangladesh Kalyan Party is a component of the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
