Two labours went missing when a stone-laden boat sank in Surma River of Chhoto Ghagtia village under Jamalganj upazila in Sunamganj district early on Tuesday.The victims were identified as Asad Ali, 30 and Monir Hossain, 20. Asad and Monir anchored the boat at Chhoto Ghagtia village-part of Surma River on Monday evening while it was heading to Bhairob with stones. They went on sleep in the boat after taking dinner. The boat might have sunk after filling with water over night.Atiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Jamalganj Police Station confirmed the matter.
