AFM Shariful Islam has been appointed Managing Director (MD) of National Bank Limited (NBL) for three years with effect from March 24, 2016. Prior to his appointment, he was Additional Managing Director (AMD) of the bank. Islam started his career as Probationary Officer in AB Bank Limited in the year 1986. He worked as manager and divisional head and performed with responsibilities is policy making process of different private banks.
