People to reject anti-liberation forces in next polls: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday said the people of the country would reject anti-liberation forces in the next general election, reports BSS.

"The next general polls will be held in the month of December in 2018... We hope the people of the country will refuse communal forces," he made the comment after paying tributes by placing wreaths at the portrait of the Father of the Nation in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi here.

Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said Awami League led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would participate in the next parliament election.

He urged leaders and activists of the party to take preparation for the next general polls.

Joint-General Secretary of AL Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Organizing secretaries Ahmed Hossain, AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, Mejbah Uddin Seraj and Forest and Environment Secretary Delwar Hossain, among others, were present on the occasion.
