Lovebirds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have finally decided to take the next step in their relationship by tying the nuptial knot in Italy after the rumours of the couple taking the next step in their relationship had created a storm on social media.
The marriage might have been a private affair but the couple is expected to throw two reception parties - one each for different category of guests - with the first one taking place on December 21 in New Delhi.
Kohli and Anushka broke the internet bosting same tweets on social media just a few minutes ago the pictures of their wedding started to hit the internet, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you.

It will reportedly only be for close friends and families and people from the entertainment industry and Bollywood will be invited for the second reception in Mumbai but not this one.
After both receptions are over, the newlyweds will leave for South Africa where Kohli will start his preparation for the highly anticipated South Africa series and bring up the New Year together. Anushka is then expected to return to India and to complete the shoot of her untitled Aanand L Rai film opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
“We are very happy to announce that Ms. Anushka Sharma and Mr. Virat Kohli got married at a private ceremony in Italy, today. The wedding was attended by close family and a few friends as they wished their wedding to be a very private affair. The wedding was performed as per Hindu rituals. Top fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has designed the wedding ensemble for both the bride and the groom. Virat and Anushka will now start inviting all industry friends and colleagues for the celebrations that are set to happen in Mumbai.
“Virat will be playing the series in South Africa for 2 months which includes three Tests, six One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Post their wedding the newlywed couple will be shifting to their new residence in Worli, Mumbai in December once they return from Delhi,” the spokesperson said in a statement after the duo tied the knot in Italy.
