Bangladesh cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim has apologized to the nation for the 1-run defeat with India on Wednesday’s World Cup T20 match.In a Facebook status posted on Thursday morning he said, ‘I know that yesterday’s defeat was painful for you. But all cricketers of the team play every match with their full efforts. So, the defeat was very painful for me and for all our teammates as well.’He also said in the post, ‘I should not have got out on the moment. The match might have been lost for me. I’m sorry to the nation. Hope, learning from this mistake, we will be able to make you happy in future.’
